Activities for the Stake's reunion/anniversary are coming to fruition and most are in the finalization stages. Whew! JoAnn Anderson and Rhonda Skousen, who are at the helm of this reunion under the direction of the Stake Presidency, are great organizers. With alot of help from many, many people throughout the stake, we are sure to have huge turn-outs at all the activities that are planned for this year.
The first kick-off is a proselyting concert with "Saints Unified Voices," directed by Gladys Knight. This will take place at the Long Beach East Stake Center, 4142 Cerritos Ave., Los Alamitos, CA on Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29, with performances at 5 and 8 pm each night. Admission is by ticket only. Tickets are free, but there is one caveat: you must bring a non-member or less active member with you. Tickets can be obtained from each ward's mission leader.
