Passing of Brother Clifford "Cliff" B. Williamson

Brothers & Sisters,

The Stake Presidency has asked us to announce the passing of a dear friend and a beloved "alumni" of the Cypress Stake. Brother Cliff Williamson, of the old Buena Park 3rd Ward and the Cypress 1st Ward, died this past week while at home and surrounded by members of his family.

Cliff and Nancy have a family of 11 wonderful children, many of whom were raised in, and served missions from, the Cypress Stake. You may recall that, for many of those years, Nancy and Cliff were the unofficial "caterers" for so many Stake events (including holiday gatherings, wedding receptions, and Church socials).

You are invited to a viewing and memorial service for Brother Williamson this coming Monday, August 6, 2007, in the Cypress Stake Center, 5151 Orange Avenue. The viewing will be held commencing at 9:30 a.m., in the Relief Society Room, followed by the memorial service at 10:30 a.m. in the Stake Center Chapel. Brother Williamson will be interred at Rose Hills Cemetery.

We extend our condolences and best wishes to Nancy, her children, and the extended and large Williamson family.
